Echoes is designed so your photos, videos, audio recordings, comments, and vault content stay on your device. Echoes does not store your private memory library on Echoes-operated media servers.
Echoes may save app data such as vault names, milestone information, family role settings, invite codes, and display preferences locally on your device so the app can function properly.
If you enable Apple backup or sync features on your device, Apple may back up app content according to your Apple settings and terms. That storage is managed by Apple, not Echoes.
Echoes does not upload or host your private memory media on our own servers. That includes recorded answers, milestone videos, voice memories, story attachments, and similar personal content.
Shared access is based on the permissions you assign inside Echoes. You are responsible for choosing who you invite and what you choose to share with them.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled through Apple’s App Store. Echoes does not receive or store your payment details.
If Echoes adds server-based syncing or collaboration features, this privacy policy will be updated before those features are released.
